Notes about this hybrid conference:
1. The conference will take place in person on the campus of Kanazawa Institute of technology (KIT) and will be hosted on-line using the Hopin platform being supported by the University of Waterloo.
2. All meetings will be in person. Minutes will taken to be shared with other committee members who cannot be there in person. There will be no recording of meetings.
3. Keynotes: Both opening and closing keynotes will be recorded live. These recordings can be viewed later for those not able to attend the keynotes in person
4. Sessions (both in person and on-line):
Two session streams per hour (ie 6 pre-recorded papers) running concurrently. Each session will have a live Q&A facilitator.
Each session has 3 paper presentations that are grouped as similar in topic and have been pre-recorded. Stay tuned for these groupings and session scheduling specifics. Each pre-recording is not more than 15 minutes. The pre-recordings will be viewed in each session room followed by 15 minutes/session of live Q&A.
5. Recordings: All pre-recorded and live recorded sessions will be available to registrants who can view them during or after the conference for as long as they wish.
6. Tea breaks and networking: in person at KIT, networking online using the Hopin platform for networking. Some tea breaks and networking may have discussion groups for those interested.
7. The showcase sessions will feature programs and initiatives from around the world. Stay tuned for more details on these sessions.
