What started out as "Berufsakademie" 50 years ago, is now DHBW, the oldest and most experienced dual study HEI in Germany. This talk will provide a brief presentation of DHBW's model, followed by brief outlines of dual study models in Europe, Southern Africa, East Africa, and South America against the key points of the DHBW model.
