WACE is the only international association dedicated to developing, expanding, branding and advocating for cooperative & work-integrated education programs within industry and educational institutions. Cooperative & Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) is a term created by WACE to acknowledge and embrace all forms of work-integrated learning utilized by industry and educational institutions to prepare the next generation of global professionals. CWIE is an encompassing term that includes: cooperative education, internships, semester in industry, international co-op exchanges, research, clinical rotations, service learning and community service. The WACE Secretariat strives to create, implement and maintain events, programs and services geared to support the entire CWIE community.

WACE offers two membership categories to best fit the interests and needs of your organization.

Institutional Membership Printable Application
This membership category allows you to name up to six people as WACE members from your institution. You would receive the following benefits:
  1. Your institutional name and logo and the primary contact person would be listed in a dedicated section of the WACE website, visited by 2.7 million people year, under Institutional Members; Your institutional name and logo in all WACE publications, and; Your institutional name and logo in the electronic version of the Guide on the website,

  2. A discounted member rate to attend all WACE sponsored events such as World Conferences, International Symposia, Institutes and other special programs,

  3. The opportunity to nominate high achieving students, who have successfully completed an international CWIE experience, for induction into the WACE International CWIE Student Honor Society. The student’s international employer would also receive recognition in the nomination,

  4. The opportunity to participate in the WACE Student Achievement Award Program which would allow you to more formally recognize those students who have completed an international CWIE experience

  5. The opportunity to receive an introduction to other institutions and employers in the WACE network to discuss exchange opportunities.

This membership category covers one person from your organization. You would receive the following benefit:

  1. A discounted rate to attend all WACE sponsored events held for the broader CWIE community such as World Conferences, International Conferences and International Symposia.
