General Description of Co-op Programs
The University at Albany offers more than 600 credit-bearing experiential courses that allow students
to learn through internships, research, service-learning and more, both domestically and abroad. The
University’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity is experiential by design, requiring students to complete several applied courses and experiences. Students take advantage of more than 80 different education abroad opportunities in more than 30 countries around the world.
