  Edwin is the Industrial Liaison Practitioner at Vaal University of Technology. The mandate is to provide and serve as the link between University students and Industry for WIL & Internship for students. Previously he was a volunteer at National Youth Development Agency responsible for outreach programmes. Currently he is a Practitioner for the Employability Improvement Project at VUT, partnering with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Edwin graduated from VUT majoring in Public Relations Management and obtained both N.Dip and B-Tech Degree as well as PGDHE(Honours: Education) from the University. He further obtained a certificate in Project management Principles & Techniques (North West University).   Mr. McAdoo is the Founder and CEO of SourcEdge Solutions, a healthcare technology services company and Executive Partner at Health Enterprise Partners, LP, a healthcare private equity firm. Mr. McAdoo is a serial entrepreneur, having started and sold five different companies. His co-op positions were incredibly impactful experiences that set him on a path for his career in technology. His first coop in accounting helped him quickly decide not to pursue that field as a profession. After changing his major to marketing, he landed his second and third coops at IBM. Ultimately, IBM hired him full-time where he advanced to Director of Business Development, reporting to the President of IBM’s Healthcare Division. He credits co-op for enabling him to find his passion and direction.   Dr. Angie McAllister is an education professional with over 30 years of experience. She has served as a teacher, principal and educational researcher. She is currently Senior Vice President of Research at ACT. Dr. McAllister has published widely, writing on diverse educational topics, from how artificial intelligence is affecting education to conflict resolution on campus. She has teaching and educational leadership certifications in Georgia and Florida. Dr. McAllister holds a number of patents—primarily for technological tools that enhance the digital learning experiences for students—and she is a frequent presenter of her work at regional, national and international conferences.   Country Manager Malaysia & Brunei Qatar Airways - Forward thinking, result focused management professional offering more than 20 years of experience in senior level leadership. Lead trainer and facilitator for Sales Techniques of Airlines Basics for Sales People (ABAS), a course introduced in house by Malaysia Airlines since October 2014. Previous professional experience include a 9 year tenure at Malaysia Airlines Berhad, reaching the position of Head of Corporate Business, where he was responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of revenue and marketingdriven activities for Corporate Business Malaysia and Globally which includes MICE business, Government of Malaysia and Online Travel Agents, by building and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners such as Tourism Boards (local and international, both state and national NTOs), Government ministries & agencies in generating incremental revenue and new business opportunities.   Joe Natale (BASc ’87, Electrical Engineering) joined Rogers as President and Chief Executive Officer in April 2017. Prior to joining Rogers, he held a number of senior executive positions at TELUS including President and CEO. Prior to 2003, Joe held successive senior leadership roles within KPMG Consulting, which he joined after it acquired the company he co-founded, PNO Management Consultants Inc., in 1997. He currently sits on the Board of The Hospital for Sick Children and Soulpepper Theatre. He is a past recipient of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 Award.   Ms. Nyce-Taylor is Principal and Co- Managing Director of the Morristown, NJ office of Gensler, the world’s largest architecture firm. Due to her two co-ops with design firms, she had a full resume which produced several job offers upon graduation. During co-op with The Hillier Group, Ms. Nyce- Taylor helped design classrooms for a local University and then she successfully presented the design to the client. Her student perspective made all the difference. After a few years, she returned to The Hillier Group where she worked for 22 years until assuming a leadership role with Gensler in 2009. Her co-op taught her important lessons including the confidence building impact of developing strong presentation skills balanced with effective listening skills, working hard, and asking for ongoing challenges.
